Rules are rules, whether you are tardy or not. Safety is the #1 concern at car drop offs/pick ups. Period.

Everyone was there dropping off kids. She thought she was more important or entitled or something - cutting the line and possibly endangering other people. Hats off to this teacher and coach.

He was protecting the children. She was the dangerous one not respecting the rules.

The driver should receive a ticket for cutting through elementary parking lot.

There are cones, and teachers on duty for a reason. She bypassed the safety measures set up because she was running late. Staff tried to stop her, she neglected to do so. This teacher done what was necessary to keep the children safe.

What an amazing man! He risked his own safety to keep the car away from the kids. It would be ridiculous to punish him in any way.

This teacher was doing his job to protect the students. If anything, the mother should get a consequence for ignoring him when he tried to stop her calmly. He wouldnt have gotten to this point had she followed the rules and respected his authority in keeping the children safe. She was blinded by her hurried drivinf. She should be thankful that she didnt hurt anyone.

As a teacher, I would do whatever needed to protect our students. No adverse action should be taken against this hero.

He was protecting the children. Areas her account off and should be safe zones for children to walk, she put children at risk. He should be commended, not reprimanded!

I woul only hope that someone would protect one of my 3 children in that manner rather than let someone break the rules. He remained calm even with her threats of “you don’t know who you are playing with” and even while she continued to drive with him on her car, which threatened him life, not hers. He was professional, and calm. Not her.
