As a parent, I request that the district takes no adverse action against Mr. Morgan; I also totally agree with his actions as he was doing his duty to protect the children in his care. The parent was in the wrong.

As a parent whose child has almost gotten hit by a parent not paying attention and going around the cones, I support this teachers decision to protect our children. That woman is an idiot and should not be a parent

Mr. Morgan should be commended. He shows the kind of strong protective instincts any parent would want in someone whom we entrust our children. Rita owes him and apology. She also should apologize to her daughter and admit that she was wrong. The teachable moment is for the mother to show she made a mistake and take accountability for her poor decision. If she wants to raise a daughter to be a responsible, accountable adult, it starts with her.

How do we expect children to follow the rules if we allow adults to break the rules and punish those that try to enforce the rules.... unfair and wrong messages being sent to our future!

Should this even be a petition? The school should take the woman to court and fine HER for putting those children at risk. Great job Mr. young for doing what is needed. I apologize that the school is even considering something such as this, they should be ashamed.
