He should be rewarded for doing his job and protecting the children. She should have waited in line and not tried to cut through the parking lot when everyone else has to wait.

As a teacher, I've seen people get into our car line accidently thinking they could cut through. Ive also seen them drive very fast once they did get turned around and almost run over our teachers who monitor the pick up line.

This teacher should be applauded not disciplined. He was clearly trying to protect the students in this district. Shame on admin for even thinking about disciplining this man. The driver of the vehicle should be disciplined by law enforcement for breaking traffic rules at a school during school hours. The driver clearly needs help with obeying clear traffic signs and the meaning of traffic cones blocking an entrance. Good grief, people! Stop bowing down to idiots who think they can post a video to social media while in the throws of a temper tantrum just to get their way. What on earth has become of our common sense!

Where does this mom get off thinking the rules do not apply to her. What if while trying to get her daughter to school on time she had accidentally hit a child. How would this be reported? While it was not the wisest thing to do, the teacher is one I would want protecting my child. The mom deserves a ticket.

An absolute Hero, so thankful for the action that Coach Young took to protect the lives of our children from someone who didn't (realize) the flow of traffic. Any turn she took in her 4000 pound vehicle, she could have hit a child. And this man tells her to stop along with other staff and she doesn't and fearing for the safety of staff and our children he takes action. The love that he has just shown our kids brings me to tears. And even still she keeps driving with a human being on her car. What if he was to fall off??? Do we not see the implications here, this could have been tragic. If anything she should be charged for her actions and reckless endangerment. Selfish woman, heroic man!

The teacher was simply looking out for the welfare of the students. This parent has no regards for student safety and failed to adhere to the rules. She is the problem and felt that her failure to properly prepare warranted her to break the rules and put other people in harm's way. The teacher is a HERO!!

This teacher/coach was just doing his job. The parent who drove past the cones should receive a fine and this teacher should receive an award. She was completely in the wrong for cutting around the cones. He should not be in trouble for stopping her as she broke the rules and put children in danger.
