Kuddos to this man; cause apparently she wasn't paying attention to the children . What if it was her child that she hit....then she would go off because he didn't do his job.

Please support teachers. He was standing up for the children against a parent who thinks that rules don’t apply to her. What if everyone did that. Why is she special?

Mr. Morgan should NOT be disciplined in any way. He did what was needed to stop this woman, who thinks she is entitled to ignore the rules and could have quite possibly harmed a child.

The administrators of the school district should be appalled with their reaction to this selfless act by a genuinely concerned young educator. Administrative leave to sort it out, ok; but to seek further repercussions when he was doing what he thought was ethically and morally right by the professional standards which he holds close to his heart, that’s a shame. Open your eyes and do the right thing, rather than cater to the media. Fight wrong with right, don’t join the negativity because it’s the easy road.

I would be honored to have teachers that care this much about my child safety teach my daughter.

Charge Rita with wreckless driving and teach her she is not entitled... get up earlier

I previously worked for five years as a Teacher’s Assistant at an elementary school in NC. This is an ongoing problem at our schools- parents not following rules in the parking lots. These rules are set up for the children’s safety. This teacher did what he had to do to get his point across and protect those kids!

I hope he continues to protect the kids!

He is protecting his charges with his life. What if it had been someone with a gun? What if he had been white?

Heaven forbid someone was asked to follow the rules. This would be nothing more than a teaching moment

I'm sorry that this has been spun in a way that makes you look like the bad guy...clearly, self entitlement has a loud voice in this one (on Rita's part). But I applaud you for doing the right thing!

The lady was in the wrong for doing something illegal. She admitted to going past numerous teachers and numerous cones in an area where she was not supposed to be. She should be the one getting in trouble. There’s little children walking about and you’re just going to drive through

Punish her, not him! Her reckless disregard for human life is what is actually concerning here.

This man is a hero and deserves his job! He rocked it and it shows in the video that he cares. We need more teachers like him.

We need those teachers that care about the safety of our kids and grand kids. SHE thought those rules didn't apply to her. If it was such an important testing day then she should have made sure she arrived early. Is she teaching her kids early to break the rules ?? With some people you gotta take drastic measures to get their attention!
