We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

My child isn't old enough to attend school yet, but once she is I can only hope that the teachers she has will care as much about her safety as Coach Young. I'm sorry that this woman feels so entitled that the children's safety shouldn't matter to her being on time and that she has put your school in the middle of this awkward situation; however, by her own admission SHE ignored the teachers and volunteers that tried several times to stop her by waving her down so his drastic measures were all that were left to get her attention and make her stop and keep the children safe.

No child should be put in danger because an adult and some teens are late. Plan better, do better and follow the rules put forth by the district. My prayer is that when my son starts school he'll have a faculty full of Aarons

He should be praised not punished. I am thankfully for teachers like him. They sure don't get paid enough to put up with crazy parents.

Everyone would expect the teacher to put himself in harms way whether that harm is a bullet, fist or vehicle, to protect the children. He did just that. He is a hero.

I support this teachers actions! He was doing everything he could do to protect elementary kids. And he did it calmly!!
