The driver of vehicle should punished since she could not properly use drop off lane appropriately. She should have her drop off privileges suspended.

As a aunt of students of Ft Bend ISD consider how this teacher put the safety of his students first. The parent only put her personal concerns first. Her needs do not supercede the safety of students.

Rita should apologize to the school and community. Teacher although extreme action confronted the situation head on. For once have a spine back your staff. Coach him in private about descalation strategy.

That MOM should get a citation!! You don’t drive around cones & act like rule or policies do not apply to you!! She should NOT have even been in the elementary parking lot!! Get up & get your kids to school ON TIME the RIGHT WAY!! Don’t teach your kids how to cheat & cut corners!!! This man deserves a RAISE, a MEDAL & an APOLOGY!!! SMH

As an educator myself, I fully support this teacher's actions! We are taught to protect our babies we live in a world where lockdown drills are the norm. Why wouldn't he jump on the hood? Come on, people!

I really feel he shouldn’t be reprimanded. With today’s dangers that our students and teachers face I feel he demonstrated a firm yet friendly resistance to a rebellious act that endangers children. Part of his job is to ensure that everyone is following the safety peocedures especially in a drop off zone. Her child didn’t even belong there and I’m glad he was quick to investigate these kinds of quick actions save lives even if they are viewed as unorthodox he has courage and quick thinking in my opinion he is a hero.

This teacher should be awarded for bravery!!! While a mother who thought the rules didn’t apply to her and she could cut through. This teacher stood up for what’s right and protected kids.

The Parent is wrong on so many levels. I drop off my children every morning. I don’t go around cones or keep going when a teacher tells me to stop. The teachers on duty in the morning are out there to keep students safe and he was doing his job. He was a bit passionate, but certainly should NOT be fired.

This teacher should be commended for trying to enforce the rules and protect the children. The mother driving the car should be ashamed of herself. Entitlement is rampant and needs to be stopped. She should be fined for going around the cones.
