We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

This teacher did what he thought was right to do in the moment to protect the kids.

We need more people willing to make strong stances to protect not only our kids but the integrity of this society instead of letting entitled people like this just have their way

Ms. Trimmer-Ray was negligent in her actions, and then tried to play the victim when seeking validation for her poor behavior. Please do not penalize Coach Young for taking his duty to protect your children seriously enough to put himself in harm's way.

I support this teacher. Protecting our children should be of utmost importance. The mother being late ia not an excuse for what she did. Firing the teacher will teach kids that rules do not apply and they can have an excuse for not behaving properly. This mother was wrong, not the teacher. She is not a victim.

I want MY CHILDREN going to a school where a teacher loves them as much as I do. Give this man an AWARD!!!

Kudos to this hero teacher! can you imagine if she'd hit a child in her entitled shortcut rampage?

If the mother is so concerned about how if a child would have done that they would be have been in deep trouble and what this teaches our children, then she should have listened to staff directions instead of ignoring them in front of her daughter, teaching her daughter it ok to not listen to school officials.

I am shocked that the media is portraying Ms Trimmer-Ray as a victim. Clearly this teacher was trying to do the right thing. This parent ignored the rules. Now this parent is showing her child that they are above the rules. I cannot for the life of me understand why this teacher is being treated anything less than a hero. This teacher needs to be given an award for standing up to the the parent who was clearly breaking the rules. Why are our administrators so afraid of standing up for the children? Quit bending to the parents that complain. Go back to the days where the rules mattered and that was that. Mr. Aaron Morgan did exactly what he should have done. This lady was NOT stopping.

That's a teacher that cares.
