He was doing his job. She was WRONG.They tried to get her to stop, she refused..so he did what he had to.
. I would love to have him protect my kids!

This man is exactly the kind of person we should uphold in our school systems. In a time where there is fear and uncertainty in our schools, how do we not give thanks for someone willing to protect our children and do it with a diplomatic tone and smile on his face? What a rare treasure! Protect him as such!!!!

The parent received an initial warning but decided not to heed it. She despite being alerted about her wrong doing proceed past the cones. The parent was in violation and should have turned around. Perhaps the teacher shouldn't have gotten on the vehicle due to it being a safety issue. He should be addressed about his action of choice but most definitely not terminated. The parent being in a hurry was detrimental to the students. Ultimately the teacher took a stand to protect students and I salute him for his action. Thanks!!!

Way to go to the male teacher! He is a hero. Boo to self entitled Rita the law breaker! She should be fined for child endangerment, wreakless driving, assault attempt for continuing to drive with the teacher on the hood trying to stop her to protect the kids.

Although the teacher may have let emotion take over. I feel that he was doing his job and protecting his students and there are rules in place. The parent on the other hand followed no rules, put others in danger, and felt she was more important than anyone else at the schools. Yes, he may have acted in a way that should be reprimanded but not dismissable. However, such parent should get a back of line line pass from now on. Shame on her for making a story out of this when she was in the wrong.

This teacher did what he had to do to get the point across to the women cutting through the area...she showed a complete disregard for the rules and safety of the children, staff and parents!

I commend this teacher and his actions. Rita is 100% in the wrong and we as a society need to take a stand against the "all about me" mentality. What better place to start teaching this but in an elementary school!

FINE THAT LADY FOR CUTTING THROUGH A ***CLOSED AREA WHERE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN ARE*** AND FEELS THAT HER CHILDS ARRIVAL TO A SCHOOL THAT ISNT EVEN THE ONE SHES CUTTING THROUGH IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN FOLLOWING THE RULES!!!

How dare the administration even attempt.to discipline this man! This woman and her entitled behind could've hurt one of the kids the cones are there for a reason another teacher attempted to stop her as did this teacher she should be fined and humiliated for being so disrespectful of other people's children

This woman thinks what he did was crazy...she used an Elementary school with young kids as a short cut because she and her HS’r were late?! Is she crazy? Bravo to him and this just goes to show he literallly threw himself in front of a car to protect the children of that school and the school and districts rules! Bravo to him!!!!

This teacher shouldn't be punished for enforcing the rules! I don't care if it's a kid or adult, he was doing his job and enforcing the rules! That woman should be ashamed for how SHE behaved!
