He had to do something to make her stop bc it was beyond obvious she wasn't going to. If she had hit a child then everyone would have been asking why no one did anything to stop her.

This teacher should NOT be reprimanded, the parent should! She said MULTIPLE times that she ignored faculty staff tell her she couldn't go through AND went around the cones that were blocking the way she was trying to go.

Thiis teacher is a Hero! I wish he had worked the carpool line when my 4 children were in elementary, or where my grandchildren are currently in elementary school. This teacher deserves a bonus and a raise.

Had this teacher NOT jumped out in front of her car to secure the safety of these students, the district would be dealing with a very different crisis -- most likely having to supply grief counselors because Rita had demonstrated that nothing and no one would keep her from driving in restricted areas where elementary school children were present. So, do the administrators of this district only applaud teachers who jump in front of bullets to protect students instead of deadly cars driven by people who think they're above the law.

What if that a child was crossing the street while she was driving recklessly.

Rita was very much in the wrong. She is no different from anyone else, what if she hit a child? Coach Morgan deserves so much and more for protecting those children with literally EVERYTHING he is!!
