As a parent of a child that was hit and killed trying to get on the school bus, I would give this teacher a huge hug if I could. He didn’t care about himself, or any repercussions, all he cared about were the children. Where others would do nothing he stepped up. This lady should be embarrassed and quite frankly I wouldn’t be surprised if she tried to sue. This would be a completely different story if she had struck a child. She should thank him. Because how differently would her life be if she had injured someone. If he is penalized it sends the wrong message and other teachers would think twice before reacting.

I completely support this teacher. That crazy woman could have hit a child. There is no reason for her to drive around cones and other faculty. This teacher did what he deemed necessary to keep the children safe, and I applaud him for that!

I support him completely. I am an educator who has almost been struck and seen children almost struck down by people trying to cut through the bus parking lot. He was protecting the children.

A courageous man stepped in the way of a selfish, inconsiderate aggressor. We need more teachers like him. We need more adults like him. We need less adult like the aggressor. This man deserves a stand up ovation!!

I would be lucky to have my children attend this gentleman’s school! Isn’t safety our number one concern? Rita was never in danger, this teacher endangered himself to protect elementary students. Give him trophy and his job back!

I, as a parent myself, strongly believe this parent was in the wrong in thinking she could take short cuts. Good job to the staff member who was there to protect the kids

I support what Aaron Morgan did, in the protection of the students at Dulles Elementary School. Rita Trimmer Ray, should be charged with trespassing. If harm had come to one of those children, your school district would have had alot more to answer to - then a teacher who was clearly trying to protect the students of your school.

I'm with the teacher, what right did she have to drive through the grade school lot and not listen when told not to drive through. She should be ticketed.

He did the right thing and hopefully taught that women not to act fully entitled and negligent in an elementary school carpool. Firing him sends the message parents can be irresponsible and disrespectful to all schools and be praised for it. Keep him on staff!
