We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

Thank you to this teacher! Yes, the job of a teacher is to Protect the Students at their school. I pray all those who violate school guidelines, rules, cones, etc. will wake up and realize how a teacher will literally lay down their life for children...even the children of entitled parents. You actually are the example to your child in this instance, be on time, obey cones, obey the two teachers telling you no, get in the long line with everyone else and wait your turn.... Obey laws, rules and regulations even if it is an inconvience. Our principal says always, "Don't be willing to trade what is most important in a lifetime for what is convienent in the moment."

Safety rules in carpool are for everyone. Including people who think their time is more valuable than someone else’s. Kudos Coach!

Do the right thing and support the teacher protecting his kids... this woman was not following rules, was putting safety of kids at risk and is acting like the victim when she was the one behaving poorly!

He was protecting tjose children. Rita was in the wrong. Maybe put police in the drop off lines and let Rita get ticketed next time . I support your teachers actions.

Bravo! I have done bus duty at my school. And my nickname was “speedbump” I would put myself in front of any car that didn’t understand the universal hand signal for stop!!!! ✋

I firmly agree with the teacher's actions! This "mom" would have killed an innocent child with her illegal behavior! She's lucky that her only "punishment" is being stopped by a heroic educator!

This mother broke the rules and didn't care if she put other children in danger. But wants to punish a teacher who put himself in the line of fire to reinforce the rules. She needs to go on and quit with her entitled behind. Somehow, because she cant manage her time in the morning, the rules don't apply to her. Do not punish this teacher. His behavior was appropriate to this woman's outrageous behavior!

They would be singing a different toon if a child would have been hurt or she plowed into another car. I had a friend who was injured after a woman went around cones and it was a policeman telling her not to and she did it anyway.

If only we had more teachers as committed as him. If today I could choose this man to be on the watch for my child he would be my first choice.

Shame on fox news for spinning this against the teacher and sensationalizing this story when the parent was clearly in the wrong. If anything, this teacher should be commended for his actions.

The teacher acted appropriately to protect children. The woman driver is the one at fault for ignoring (AFAIK) not one, but three other safety measures - cones, another teacher, and more cones. I certainly hope she *doesn't* try that behavior at a railroad crossing.

Thats right Sir, stop Rita by any means. If everyone running late didn’t feel like waiting and chose to cut through the elementary school then what? Our Children’s safety first, you did nothing wrong but protect your students while ms Rita decided not to follow instructions endangering the welfare of the children

He was protecting the rules and the kids . I do not understand why anyone cares she was running late . She didn't belong on the school grounds at the elementary school . What if she would have hit a child in her rush . I think he should not be punished for protecting the kids of that school
