My son attends a K-12 school in TN and we have CRAZY traffic! I myself have personally had to approach a driver on foot to ask her to stop texting and pay attention. Some parents seem so unconcerned with other people’s children and their safety. The teachers who help guard our children are invaluable. I agree it is a teachable moment, but can’t we all agree we have all been pushed past our breaking point at one point or another? Don’t punish this teacher for trying to protect the children!

I would be proud to have him as my child’s teacher. He has shown he will go above and beyond to protect the children!

I would LOVE for my child's school to have an employee that I knew would be willing to jump in front of a car for my child or others. Kudos to him and shame on Rita - follow the rules, remember your kids do as you do not as you say.

I wish this Teacher was at our kids Elementary School. Since when is a parent being late, more important than our children's safety! I see way too many parents at school drop off and pick up, who for whatever reason, seem to think they are too entitled to follow all the safety rules.

I'd love to have him at my kiddos' school! That parent needs to be banned from school property...she's dangerous!

I love how he was willing to do what was needed in order to ensure the safety of the children he is responsible for when a parent is choosing to break the rules. We need more teachers like him!

He was doing his job, protecting the students as he needed to. No one knew what was going to happen. Not even him. She could have run him over or any of the students. And his first thought was not about him or this car, it was about the students trying to safely get into school for the day! HERO!!!

God Bless him for caring for the children! My God she did not even stop while he was on her car and threatened him with her comments. Shame on her. She owes him a public apology and he deserves an award for caring.

This guy was protecting kids and stopping a woman from breaking rules. Is this not reckless driving and deserving of a fine by the city? It was literally on video that she did not stop.

This teacher did exactly what he should have done to protect the students. That parent needs to remember she is NOT entitled/special/privileged.
