We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

This teacher is a hero. This woman has entitlement issues and I would have been proud to have him as my child's teacher.

The Police should have been called and RITA should have been issued a citation rather than being portrayed as a hero!!!! Totally absurd! PLEASE support the SUPER HERO EDUCATOR!

He is a hero he did no wrong he protected school children this is the kind of staff we need in our school that care like this!!!

As a mom of a junior high student and an elementary student I applaud this teacher! This woman was told several times that the area was blocked off and that she could not go this way but she still proceeded to disregard all of the efforts of the other teachers because she was running late. These procedures are in place for the safety of not only the children but the faculty of the school and she completely disregarded all protocol. She even admitted that she knew what she did was wrong. In no way, shape, or form should this teacher have to lose his job for trying to enforce the rules that are in place.

Let’s take a moment to recognize a teacher who takes his role seriously and puts himself in harm’s way to protect students.

Yes, it was extreme but that is who I want watching my child.

Follow the rules and keep our kids safe. We all run late but own it and do better.

Teachers going beyond to keep kids safe should be celebrated, not self-entitled parents that break the rules to suit their own faults.

Please do not discipline this amazing teacher! He is an amazing man to put his life before the students like that.

The teacher's job was to protect the children. He was placed there for a reason, not just to observe. If things had gone differently and a child or another car had been hurt or damaged, the conversation would have blamed the teacher for not doing something. You CANNOT have both. He did his job and a delay in his reaction could have been more costly than a griping parent who WAS at fault! I am a former teacher with 30 years of experience. Rules are there for a reason.

I am tired of entitled parents thinking they have the right to do whatever they want regardless of the rules and policies, while educators have to "be professional" and let them.

This teacher did what needed to be done to protect a child’s safety. As a mother of a Kindergartner I understand that such intensity is needed when it comes to this age of children.

He deserves an award for protecting those kiddos from Rita who thinks even when breaking rules she is never at fault! Go Coach go, your students are blessed to have you
