We support Aaron Morgan, Dulles Elementary School Teacher - Protecting Children at the School House

Thank you for putting the children’s safety as top priority.

He asked her to stop then forced her to stop. It is the way it should have been handled. People today think they can do whatever they want to do. Poor judgement in this woman’s case.

To the teacher who jumped on that woman’s car - Sir, YOU deserve a RAISE! You did what I pray my children’s teachers would do. You jumped into danger to save the lives of children. An entitled, self-serving woman who was late by her own admission decided her inability to be ready on time was far more important than any elementary School child. THANK YOU SIR!

This teacher did what he needed to do to enforce the rules. I respect him for putting the safety of students first.

Give him a special award like teacher of the Year for the whole country

As a parent, I applaud this teacher for tacking the actions to protect his students. I understand that car lines, can be annoying to parents, but they are the best way schools have to handle the massive amounts of traffic each day. I support Coach Aaron Young and his actions.

I agree with this teacher stopping her all means necessary. Rules are rules, they are there to keep her student safe. How much time did she add onto her schedule arguing with 2 teachers. Entitled and rediiculous

I wish this man worked at my child's school! God bless him for doing whatever it takes to keep HIS children safe! If only all teachers took such an daring initiative towards the safety of students. Someone with such a blatant disregard of rules and safety procedures, could have been on that campus with an intent other than simply making up time because she was late... Thank you Aaron Morgan for your amazing concern for your children and doing whatever it takes to keep them safe, all the while with a smile on your face! He is a hero! And I pray Ms Rita, and others like her, learn a lesson from this experience and outpouring of support for this amazing teacher.

I applaud this man for putting himsel in harms way to protect these innocent children from selfish people like this woman!!! Thank you to all teachers who love the children as much as this man obviously does.

As the Mom to an elementary student and wife to a high school teacher....the mom was in the wrong here. Yes, he shouldn’t have jumped on her car, but I am glad he did what he had to do to stop this woman from taking an illegal route that endangers children just to get her child to school on time. I would hope that a teacher would do that to protect my child. There are too many parents who are teaching their children that you don’t have to follow the rules and put yourself first despite the consequences! Do not punish this teacher!

I have seen too many near misses in school drop off lanes due to people like Rita. It's time they learn the safety of all children come before them. I wish there were more teachers like him.

We need more teachers like this and less Rita's

If this woman had ran over a child because "she needed to drop her daughter off at the high school" we would have all wonder why the teacher didn't do more. Well he did and he prevented a tragedy.
