He did the right thing it's not right for someone to do what they want, just because their kid is running late. They are rules for a reason.

She broke the rules & he stopped her. The self entitled people are a part of what is wrong in the world today.

Give this teacher a medal. He did what he thought was necessary to stop a potentially life threatening event from occurring. This lady violated the safety cones and had zero consideration for the safety of all of the other kids. This teacher did what he did to protect children.

This teacher was protecting other students by preventing an adult from breaking the rules. The administration should have never apologized to the woman who thought they didn't apply to her. This is the kind of teacher you want protecting your children. For all he knew, she could have been coming after someone at the school. If he is disciplined for this, I feel sorry for everyone whose child is in that school district, because it's obvious the people in charge don't back their employees.

Superintendent needs to apologize to the coach not that maniac mother. This coach did the right thing.

This man deserves accolades, not admonishment. Rita is an entitled patent who refuses to be accountable. She should be ashamed. This teacher is a hero.

He is dedicated to the safety of the children, apparently the driver of this car is not.

He is an inspiration to all educators and I would be honored to have someone like him looking out for my girls.

Good for the teacher! He was protecting the kids from this entitled, inconsiderate woman. She is a poor example to her children.

This entitled woman seems to think she did nothing wrong and the school should be praising the coach and this woman charged for her actions in a school zone and not showing her daughter the rules of the road. Sup. you have failed your staff and students who expect you to protect them!

I 100 percent support this teacher..his job is to protect these children..the children in his school..you have a mother whos child that dont even attend the elementary school cutting threw the parking lot ignoring every other staff memeber whos trying to stop her. And she gets to mr aaron and mr aaron says no your not putting my students in harms way just because your running late.. With all the horrible things going on in our schools today teachers like aaron are teachers you need to keep..he had no problem putting himself on the line for his students..for his school.. He should be rewarded.. Here's some food for thought..now lets just hypothetically speak for a second.. Would you look at him as a hero or would you want him disciplined if this was a parent/student/ or person in general trying to run students over or if they had a gun or if they was trying to cause harm to the students and staff and he jumped on the hood to stop them.. Or put his self on the line to stop them... Because thats what he did he stopped a vehicle that was in a restricted area.. Had she hit a child youd be asking why no one stopped her... This man did his job and he did it well..his job is to protect the students in his care.. If you want disciplinary actions taken take them out on the vehicle that wasnt following directions not on the teacher who tried to enforce them..shes not entitled to break rules just because shes running late.. The area she was trying to cut threw is blocked off for a reason..

So tired of people breaking rules & getting publicity claiming to be a victim. Time to support those trying to keep our children safe!

The safety of our children goes well beyond our school walls...she was in the wrong!

It is wrong for Rita to make it about her. She was in the wrong. Keep it simple. If you are late, you are late. The cones in the elementary school were there for a reason.
