We are the students and staff of the University of Wolverhampton. We oppose any decision by Academic Board on Wednesday 19th June 2013 to move away from the University's much-loved, much-used, much-respected VLE WOLF. We have not been presented with the findings of the consultation process on what students and staff want from a VLE. We have not been given a rationale as to why WOLF -- with adequate resourcing and continued investment -- cannot be amongst the best VLE platforms in higher education. We value WOLF's distinctiveness and are proud of it being 'home grown'. We are saying louder than ever that we do not want to lose it.
