Nora Houseman is one of the most dedicated educators and administrators I know. Removing her from SFC would gravely harm the community, teachers and students. Bring back the principle who has spent 8 years deeply committed to the education goals of SFC.

I have never met a person as devoted to her school and students as Nora. This is completely unfair and madness to remove her from SF Community School which she helped build and make so great.
I am hopeful that the board will see clearly here and revoke this regrettable decision.

By removing our principal at a crucial time before the end of the year, you're placing an already underfunded school with lots of needs in an even more vulnerable position. Time and time again, the district has demonstrated so little commitment to the students in our school. From not having substitute teachers available, to sending test equipment with no headphones - what are you telling our students? That they don't even deserve to finish the year with their committed and engaged principal?

Nora is an incredibly strong and dedicated leader. That the district would remove a principal from a school in this manner is criminal. The entire school community relies on Nora for her direction and leadership. In my experience working with her she has always shown the best judgement with the school community in mind. I am so disappointed in the district for their behavior. I promise to fight this decision. I STAND WITH NORA AND SFC.

Our family stands strong with Nora and we stand strongly against institutional silence that prevents productive growth. It is heart-breaking to see our education system get in the way of incredible education. We chose SFC BECAUSE of Nora's passionate and authentic, on-point and detailed discussion about the SFC approach. We are so glad to be part of such a strong community.

Please bring back Nora as SFC's principal. She is a dedicated leader and principal who is committed to equity and excellence in academics. She is a excellent partner and proactive problem solver with parents, children and staff as issues and needs arise.
Our family has been at SFC for nine years and we are devastated by the district's actions. I ask you to reconsider and bring Nora back. She is the best principal for SFC.
