Though it was unsettling to receive information in such a way, I am still thankful that Officer Mitch did something!!! We can no longer sit around and do nothing...or wait for someone else! Bring him back ...those who let him go should be ashamed!

Officer Mitch was my best friend when I went through White Oak Elementary! I was always picked on and alone so he always sat with me at lunch and made me feel better and always did a small pep talk. He is my Buddy! forever!

It is unfair to dismiss an officer who was just trying to warn the community. Or did we want a tragedy like what happened today in Oregon? We must thank the officer for his alert and for him caring about our children.

Use your brains people! This man would not have alerted the community if he wasn't a caring person. He did what he thought was the best course of action with very little time to do t in. We need more officers and friends of the schools to keep them safe!

I have known officer mich since I was in kindergarten I'm in 8th grade now. I go to white oaks festivals and he still remembers me he has always been good with kids and a good officer. He is he best traffic officer I have seen he gets the cars by fast and keeps traffic from backing up. He socializes with the kids and let's them hold his handcuffs he is an awesome role model and always will be he's the best!
