I urge for an independent inquiry to be held. Ministers cannot investigate other ministers. As LKY said, we need to he fair but more importantly we MUST BE SEEN to be fair! A situation of "own self investigate own self" will never lend be seen to be a fair and unbiased investigation!

I am not satisfied with the government's and CPIB's findings. Proper, reliable and independent investigations are required.

We need a truly independent committee to review the Ridout case to ensure transparency. Every detail of the agreement needs to be revealed to the public. Not just hearsay!!!

Being a former Singapore citizen living in Canada, such incident would call for independent board of inquiry.

It's very unfair to many Singapore so simply shrug off "case closed no further actions taken"
There are many things hidden as opposed what said "I have nothing to hide"

Reviews are just hogwash. We want an Independent Commission of Inquiry to probe this matter and publish all findings for the general public to decide if any wrongdoing had been done and if the punishment meted out sufficiently addresses the issue to prevent a recurrence of such a misdoing by any political office bearer ever in the near future.
