This matter seems more serious than the lying on parliament by RK of WP. This concerns matter of integrity by 2 sitting ministers of the ruling party. A COI would clear them of any stain to their reputation.

We do not want an Independent review in Parliament.
Lift/remove both ministers from privileges in the parliament house and conduct a COI immediately with LO and other opposition as members.

In any wrongdoings, whether perceived or actual, an investigation is always done independently to show final outcome. Why is this issue of the Ridout units so different that they can call for a review by their own. Are they so special from common folks that their sense of justice or guilt is set by themselves only by themselves?! Than this would be the prove of rot from the top & this PAP party.

Govt and cabinet ministers must be above board and subject to accountability. Ownself check ownself is not a proper platform . It must independent body not from the Govt let alone Sr minister Teo

Does the PAP represent the voice of the ordinary Singaporean? If so, we need the PM to tell the people that he remains committed to the people first unequivocally by appointing independent inquiry.

Trust is utmost important. Fairness is also very important to citizens and opposition members who are Singaporeans too. Another voice is definitely needed in Parliament for citizens' concern.

Having own party members to review is anything but Transparent. This must not happen in a so call democratic countries. Singapore government will make a mockery of themselves internationally.
