We request that the Braselton Town Council deny approval for a NTB "Automotive Tire and Repair Facility" at 2137 Friendship Road.

We do not want NTB near our subdivision!

I'm writing to give my disapproval of the NTB planned for Friendship Road. The amount of noise that this business will bring to the area is not wanted and will bring down home values of those of us that live near this establishment. This is a family community. The residents in this community want and need more family friendly businesses. I'm not entirely sure why some of the businesses are being approved for our area, but the decisions made recently don't make much sense and will hurt the value of our homes and bring down our community. Not to mention, these decisions don't seem to have the best interest of the community in mind. Once again, this is a family community. Advertised as a golf cart community. We don't need another storage unit facility, 3rd gas station within two blocks of one another (Referring to the BP that is virtually empty every time I drive by it- Will more than likely go out of business in the next two years), or the "luxury" apartment homes being put in at Thompson Mill and Spout Springs (Not a good idea at all- Crime, Increased transiency in our neighborhood schools, and lower home values). And just so you know, apartments are often times sold off to other companies. Usually the 3rd and 4th owner of the complexes let them go down hill. So they may look nice now, but 5-10 years from now they will be run down, low cost housing (Which is typical of high crime areas and failing schools.) It's also my understanding the owner of this land doesn't even live in our state, so they have no vested interest in what businesses come in to our community. That's why we, the residents, need you to help control who does and doesn't set up shop in this area. Once again, I am against the NTB being put in on Friendship Road. Please don't keep making the same mistakes over and over again. Our community is counting on you to do the right thing.

I vote no to NTB

I invite any or all members of the Braselton Town Council To travel to the Home Depot at the intersection of South Lee and GA 20 in Buford. Stand in the parking lot, about 500 ft from the NTB then look and listen. I suggested 500 feet because that is the distance between the proposed NTB and my neighborhood. If you can honestly say that you would like to wake up to that, every day, drive by that on your way home, every day, have your friends over to your house to listen to that during a back yard BBQ then vote yes.... Otherwise Vote NO! and save us from having to do live with this light industrial business in our neighborhood. What you are looking at inthat Home Depot parking lot is exactly where that business should be.

We live in an upscale area and with this, it will help degrade an area that is already inundated with fast food. Keep it out.

Please do not approve this business to be built on Friendship Road. The traffic is already terrible, and there are often wrecks in this exact area and at the Spout Springs intersection. Also, the noise and potential pollution will be vey disturbing to residents

We need another tire and repair facility like a hole in the head. Within a 15 mile radius we have a ton of these tire businesses.

This type of business will only add to traffic and noise during the day and probably up to 8 or 9 in the evening. We already have too many businesses in this area.

We already have tolerated enough useless development near our home. We moved to this area because of the environment and over the last 5 years it has been eroded. The road noise and sounds of am trash picks are not what we signed up for. The addition of a tire shop will make this worse. 6 days of week of 7-7 air guns will devalue our investment.
