I appreciate the time and effort that has gone into development of, and communication about, the long range plan. In and of itself, it is worthwhile to have deleoped such a plan in order to assess options aviaable to the club. However, I am opposed to moving forward with any aspect of the plan at this point in time. My concerns are as follows:1) the possibility of moving forward has revea;ed fundamantal divisisons within the membership which need to be addresses before embarking on an amitious, and expensive captial expansion program; 2) efforts to justify the plan appear to many to be based on anecdotle evidence in terms of both our needs and the level of support for the plan, and; 3) while we can never reach unanility on major issues such as this, the risks to all memebers of mvoving forward on a fragile foundation of support are too great to assume. It is time to pause and to become stronger by addressing the concerns that have been raised by current members rather than froging ahead in an attempt to anticpate the needs of future members. While we might end up building some or all of the elements of the plan, we need to do so from a psotion of strenth and unity with appreciation for the fact that, just as pros[pective mebers have other options, so do current members.

Just don't think this massive expenditure is necessary.

I support aspects of the plan such as the pool additions, but not the plan in its entirety.

I appreciate the effort that went into creating this plan. However, I am not confident that the plan can be carried out without significantly raising dues. I am also worried that the major overhaul of the golf course, my favorite club asset, isn't accounted for in the capital plan. I would love to have all of the planned improvements at the club over time, but committing to the plan today, for me, is problematic. Thanks again for taking the time and putting in the effort to hear from all club members on this initiative.

It's incredible that a few board members want to railroad this through without allowing us to vote on it. Some updates may be needed, but not $15mm + worth!

We need to improve the quality and service of the existing facilites within the Club. Bigger is not better.

I do appreciate the efforts of the board and the LR committee. I do think an overwhelming majority of folks are not for this plan.

Combination Disney World & day care center is not our view of what the CCC should be.

Opposed. I do not believe that this plan can be implemented without raising monthly dues or assessing the membership. I am shocked that our capital fund is not larger than it is. I'm not interested in opening to door to everyone in town just to pay for this. I agree with a part or two of the plan but not the entire scope.

They may claim that they won't increase dues, but they will certainly increase fees for every use and service the Club offers. We already have to pay for exercise classes that other clubs don't charge for. I can't imagine giving Paul and Suzy and larger facility to manage when there are so many problems and issues with the current one. They have not been responsive to members concerns and complaints. The issue of tennis losing 2 soft courts is unacceptable. Indoor, if that would ever happen and probably is not financially feasible long term, will not solve this problem as we would be charged for their use. Our tennis program has grown tremendously and we need every court we have. If anything we need more.
