We oppose BDS in the heart of Portland!

Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz is correct in his assessment of BDS: , "BDS is anti-peace, anti-negotiation and anti-Israel. I am pro-peace, pro-negotiation, pro-Israel and pro-Palestine…BDS is based on bigotry. If Israel was not the nation state of the Jewish People, then this debate wouldn’t be happening today."

I oppose this vote. Supporting BDS - is supporting terror and supporting blind hatred, towards the only democratic country in the middle east, who actually produces and invents, as opposed to other countries in the region that produce only hatred, terror and blood...

In my opinion, the BDS movement does not promote peace, which is what any rational person would want for the region.

If really the human right wants democracy in the Middle East, Israel is the only true democracy in the Middle East. But the human right group problem is that the don't like the Jewish people and the state of Israel.

BDS and "Occupation-Free Portland" are anti-Semites PRETENDING to care about "Human Rights". Let's FREE PORTLAND from bigotry, hypocrisy and blatant anti-Semitism!!

I think that Israel, unlike any other country facing constant physical and emotional attacks from just across its borders and from around the world is practicing democracy far more effectively than any other country who perpetrates it!

The BDS movement, in it's local guise of "Occupation-Free Portland", is a dark circus composed of evil, bigoted clowns, a big tent sheltering groups that hate Israel and, ultimately, hate Jews. This tent of hatred should be brought down ASAP.

Lazy commissioners can't take the time to read something before they vote on it? Too common among decesion makers in government.

The HRC should not claim that this matter was fairly discussed, or that evidence both pro and con was presented, when the actual meeting was chaotic and one sided. This decision was made by noise, not deliberation.

Stop discrimination against the jewish people

Israel is the only true ally in the middle east thAt we have.

Boycotting Israel does not help-it is simply hatred towards a country that is dealing with constant attacks. Both sides are not perfect, and Israel has a right to defend itself. There have been dozens of terrorist attacks on Israelis in the past few weeks, and they, as the only democracy in the Middle East need our support-as would any country facing constant threats.

BDS is not just hate its Racist and anti semitic. I oppose RACISM and Anti -Semitism to rule this process. Shame on you!

This proposal brought before the HRC by the BDS movement is disingenuous at best, though most likely anti-Semitic. It is an embarrassment to the city of Portland to have a commission that voted to endorse it.

I oppose this vote. I additionally oppose the biased, uninformed, unjust, and unprofessional process by which the PHRC handled this serious issue.

I appose the BDS movement which is, in essence, a movement disguising its anti-semite platform by boycotting any product from Israel. I support Israel!! And its right to exist as a Jewish homeland to all Jews!

Its not against 4 companies. They can nit really bds tgem...they need them...we need t g e n in Portland. Do they mean to stop building in port k and or stop communicating? No. They want to put a pressure on them to stop working with Israel. So...under the cover...it all comes to trying boycott Iseael. If you do that, I will personally fight to firce then to boycott any company that works with Turkey who controlls East Cyprus in contrast to the Un Decition, To boycott any company who gets money from SaudArabia specialky the PSU and more and more.....

BDS is a patently and blatantly anti-semitic.

No responsible public body should be permitted to make immutable decisions after hearing only one side of an issue.
