I am Polish, I have lived in the UK for 15 years, and I came to this place specifically for personal renewal and healing. Being here, among the peaceful nature, helped me deeply. Brithdir Mawr is a unique sanctuary and a sacred common good that inspires people from all backgrounds. Forcing this beautiful community out for a commercial project is deeply wrong—the new owner must sit down and negotiate a solution.

We need to encourage communities like this, and support them to exist. People endeavouring to live in peace and harmony with the natural world around them, is possibly the only way our planet might survive us. This isn't just one community, it's a big part of how we may survive as humans on this beautiful, green and blue planet. We need to support them, not disable them.

I WWOOFed at Brithdir Mawr in (about) 2007 and thought it was a great example of how to live better. I want the people and their community to carry on doing what they do, there needs to be more Brithdir Mawrs not fewer

'Ownership' has more than one meaning - this community & housing co-op has been here for many years and it shouldn't be possible just to throw them off the land they have been loving and caring for all that time.

I visited about 25 years ago and found it to have been inspirational, so much so that I am now living in an intentional community myself. Please do not put a stop to the work that has been done here over the years. This is peoples' lives.

As intentional communities collect experiences vital for resilience and sustainability, I strongly suggest to try to incorporate an existing community to any future real estate plans!

Closing down this housing co-op does not seem to me to be a good start for a healing centre, as a lot of the same sorts of people who choose radical housing solutions, are also interested in healing.
