From what little back and forth gossip I have heard from students I am disappointed if he is simply leaving due to disputes over teaching methods, or for Raj challenging university standards of teaching (assuming that is what happened).
I truly believe Raj is a more than capable as a lecturer, and wouldn't question that he inspires not just me, but certainly every peer I have met agrees that he is a wonderful role model.
Raj is not the only lecturer I hear having problems in the philosophy department, and our department is very understaffed from my understanding. I think It's sad, and needless to waste a lecturer with as much philosophical aptitude Raj has.
Please bring our lecturer back! The philosophy department truly will not be the same without him, and the department seems to be suffering enough as it was already!

Im a first year student and would love Raj to stay throughout my journey of discovering wisdom.

I was particulary excited, since my 1st year, to be taught by Raj on the Marx module as I know he has special interest in this subject and has a deep understanding on this subject.
