This country welcomed people fleeing persecution in 1939. How sad that the Home Office now sends refugees back to the place where they suffered persecution.

This country took in my father as 14 year old child fleeing Nazi persecution, in 1939. All four of his children have worked for public services: the NHS, Social Services and DWP. I believe Britain has a duty to those seeking freedom from persecution today, which is why I am signing this petition.

Nestor must be allowed to stay having no-one in Guinea and plenty of people here. Nothing is to be gained by deporting him

Nestor is indeed a valuable member of the community and given his previous experience of human rights abuse in Guinea ,he should be allowed indefinite leave to remain on humanitarian grounds.
