Nestor Sylla came to the UK 12 years ago after fleeing Guinea because of death threats and persecution. This followed the death of his father, the disappearance of his mother and the murder of his sister. He came to the UK to seek safety and has built up close relationships with people in Manchester who he now regards as his family. He has volunteered for many charitable organisations and has been a carer for one of his close friends when she was seriously ill. He also helps look after the children of another close friend. Nestor's immigration case has been caught up in a "whirlpool" of Home Office bureaucracy and the Home Office now wants to remove him from the UK. He has no family, friends or home in Guinea. Nestor's home is now in Manchester and his new family need him here. Please sign the petition calling for Nestor to be given leave to remain in the UK.

It both wrong and contradictory to remove someone to a dangerous situation. He has contributed so positively to a society which does not allow him paid employment.

Having heard of Nestor via my niece, who has met him and shared his circumstance, I ask that he be allowed to remain in Manchester where he contributes to the well being of others and where his own well being is most compassionately served.

I'm the one Nestor care seriously ill in the hospital from 2009 till when I had my previous operation in 2014. Up to today he is always with me when ever I need him. Very compationate man, loving, and obedient. We need him here.

I have worked with nestor on Night Shelter reception and know how well organised he is and how quietly supportive when other assylum seekers are under stress. A most valuable person.

This country took in my father as 14 year old child fleeing Nazi persecution, in 1939. All four of his children have worked for public services: the NHS, Social Services and DWP. I believe Britain has a duty to those seeking freedom from persecution today, which is why I am signing this petition.

Nestor is indeed a valuable member of the community and given his previous experience of human rights abuse in Guinea ,he should be allowed indefinite leave to remain on humanitarian grounds.

Let Nestor stay. He has suffered enough and deserves to stay here in safety. All humans deserve to be safe.

Nestor is making a positive contribution to the community. He has no family, friends or home in Guinea. Let him stay.
