We the signatories below are fed up with the speeds being offered by conventional broadband when many parts of Southampton get 300 Mbs download speeds. The current technology now requires fibre to be attached to a cabin next to the exchange for all residents to enjoy a better overall service! The current service is often interrupted which makes streaming media unreliable. Fair Oak is a prospering community and many depend on quality broadband for their work and schools.
If neighbouring parts can have fibre, why can't we

I work from home as an IT consultant. I see no reason why Fair Oak does not qualify for fibre broadband.

The most frustrating thing here is the lack of transparency from both OpenReach and the council.
