The dogs and cats are from many towns in Union county, not just Elizabeth. Darcy has done a wonderful job trying to reunite or find homes for these pets. Why would anyone try to cause an issue here? This doesn't make sense... She's doing a wonderful job for "Us" and for "Them."

THIS IS RIDICULOUS. Not giving the position to someone because doesn't live in the city is plain unacceptable. They should really focus on the experience and all the wonderful things Darcy has done for many animals at the shelter. She's more than qualify to get this position..

Darcy has done so much for this community. She is constantly advocating and available around the clock to answer questions, provide support, and help our furry and not so furry friends. I already so grateful for her dedication and hard work.

The thought process of only hiring someone who lives in Elizabeth is absolutely ridiculous! Darcy is clearly more than qualified and a caring, compassionate soul. Don't be heartless to those poor animals. They need her.

Darcy is without a doubt an Angel for animals. Elizabeth Animal Shelter is extremely lucky to have her advocate for them. Every day she shares with us pets that never had a chance at survival. We get a background story with pictures and we post each and every one of these wonderful pets. Darcy saves them from a life of homelessness, illness, or worse = lost forever without any hope of being found. Our group is over 5000+ strong. We come together for her and her genuine heart to serve and save.
You owe it to yourselves to do everything in your power to take care of this selfless soul who champions for not only you, but more importantly all of the animals.

This is ridiculous! The Prosecutor’s Office just issued her a Certificate of Appreciation in March of 2018! Who’s family member needs a job that she’s being forced out?
Keep Darcy in her current position
