Star Wars, for the last few years lets admit, it hasn't been as good as the Original Trilogy. People blame Disney and their "Bad Directors! Which I believe isn't the case at all. I believe what's going wrong with Star Wars at the moment is where in the Star Wars universe these stories are being made, we didn't need a Sequel trilogy, what Star Wars fans need is One off films like Rouge One (Which was amazing by the way) or the Old Republic. However, the Ex Doctor Strange director has recently announced that if he were to make a Star Wars movie it would in fact be R-Rated. I personally believe that an R-Rated Star Wars movie would be the way to go. Lets face it, Star Wars is pretty dystopian-like (relating to or denoting an imagined state or society where there is great suffering or injustice.) So there is obviously quite a lot of violence there but it is never truly shown on screen, the closest we have gotten to it is The Mandalorian. However, I believe that It would be a massive stepping stone for Disney to create an R-Rated Star Wars movie or TV show. Its not unheard of for R-Rated films from Disney so it is not against their nature to make films for older viewers. I believe that making an R-Rated Star Wars movie would be an interesting step to take on a viewers behalf and be a clever move on a directors/ Disney's behalf too. By signing this petition you are in favour of an R-Rated Star Wars movie and also consider if you are under 15 this movie will take at least 2 years to make from now, so by that time you may well wish to see a R-Rated Star Wars film in cinemas or at home.
