Both of my horses have had reactions to vaccines and I would like to be able to vaccinate only for the necessary diseases. Currently I am not vaccinating one of my horses at all because her reaction was serious.

It should be simple to be able to vaccinate for one disease at a time. This would be a popular separation. I'd rather pay my veterinarian extra farm calls to vaccinate at different times rather than all at once. Veterinarians should like this option as well!

Combo vaccines have been a problem. Every time I give one of my horses ewt I spend all night babysitting because of colic symptoms. It dosnt have to be that way, and it shouldn't. Please offer them separate. Incidentally, it seems that the combos have only been getting more heavily loaded... Going in the opposite direction that would be most agreeable to the horse! It might be convent for an owner but troublesome for the horse.
I'm so glad this petition has surfaced! I want my horses to be vaccinated against the most prevalent diseases.. but the stress each yr has made me consider not vaccinating. I shouldn't have to make that choice.

Just had a mare with a severe reaction to the tetanus combo vaccine two weeks ago. No reaction to indvidual vaccines spread out over weeks.

I have an insulin resistant horse that is very sensitive and reacts to multiple vaccines in a single injection. Single agent vaccine will allow her to be vaccinated.
