We need this to happen I used to have so much fun as a child and my siblings family and friends when there was a sandpit and little pools this needs to happen for the next generation of kids!!

Really really miss the old splash land used to travel there from n w London now Iive in Wgc can't believe its gone!! My younger kids would love it, it was so safe in paddling area for toddlers too. Fair lands is good but too far away & far too small considering size of surrounding area. Cadiobury too far & sooo busy it's unsafe. WGC needs its own local water area without a doubt. Meant to have had something but so far just climbing thing which is still closed & not what the local people need

miss the old pool and sand area....my kids grew up with it..would be nice to see the grandchildren play there.....and either sort that expensive climbing thing out or pull the bloody thing down...total waste of our money!

Stanborough definetly needs a swimming pool or splash park , it hasn't been the same since the pool got shut down !

We desperately need a splash park in welwyn garden city where our children can benefit instead of trekking to Stevenage or St. Albans

Give us back our wet play facilities at stanborough park like we used to have. Used to generate great revenue for the are and was extremely popular. Now it's just a closed dead space with a dangerous child's high climb where someone testing fell and broke their pelvis. How safe is that? It's now costing wh councils more in legal battles than it would have to kept the pools open and properly maintained. Wh councils clearly are not fit for purpose as the man at the top earns over £140,000 a year in salary for playing golf and closing great public services. I smell corruption here and trust me I have a well trained nose for these things

i lived going there as a child in the late 70's and early eighties. Was gutted when I discovered it had gone having had my own children. Would be great to have it back.

Spent so many years of my childhood here back in the 70s. Now I have to drive my children to letchworth to experience anything like this (and Letchworth splash pool is good, but no way near as great as Splashlands used to be ).
