The splash park should have been rebuilt many years ago...whoever decided the high-ropes farce was a good idea should never work again! Bulldoze the high ropes site and do the right thing...build a splash park that will be of use to so many more.

The parking becomes too expensive for just an hours walk or coffee stop with a view and outside seating area (nowhere else to do that in Hatfield town or the Galleria) so the coffee shop doesn't make the money and people go away unhappy. If I saw this money accrued by parking going to Splashland, or explained how it was spent to the benefit of the residents, then just maybe, I could be more positive about paying for parking.

I went every day in summer. It was always packed. Whdc are missing out on huge revenues. And how about doing something for the people for a change?

It is time for something for Welwyn Hatfield residents that will be used by all after many disappointments with delays and deferred schemes and the despondency while the shadow of the incinerator hung over the town. T
The rope affair has never been explained and leaves a white elephant to remind us of exactly how things never work out. An opportunity for something positive for long suffering but optimistic supporters of the area in which we believe in.
