Welwyn garden city is about families. Astonishing that we have no swimming pool or water facilities. We are big enough not to have to share with stevenage and Hatfield!

Yes I quite agree we need some sort of wet play!! The park at Letchworth is extremely popular, something along those lines would be fantastic!!!

please let the families of wel/hat at least have this ! we have nothing here - no bowling alley, or ice rink - the high ropes even got shutdown - we were nearly landed with a rubbish dump - so at least give this back to all of us !!!!

I have happy memories of stanborough swimming pool and was sad when it closed. I always thought it should have been salvaged. Let's get that done!

I would love to see this open. It has been closed since I was a kid and would love for my kids to have good days as I did.

We need a splash pool for the children at welwyn garden city. There is no pool in the area and the parks are nothing compared to other areas. It's about time wgc council thought about the young of this town.

This would be bringing back a great family tradition, and would create more jobs for an outside pool. This will give children something to do, enjoy, learn and engage in swimming activities, furthermore, did the Olympics say that sport would be increased and more money towards onlympic activities. I think this would engage children at a younger age, and will also bring people together. Please listen.
