We need a secondary school in the South of Wokingham by September 2016

Wokingham Borough Council has gone back on its pledge to 'guarantee' a secondary school will open in September 2016 in the Arborfield area.
By 'guaranteeing' a school would open at the same time and in the same place as the SOW Free School it made it impossible to continue with our plans to get a school in place as early as 2015.
It now seems parents living in Arborfield, Barkham and Finchampstead will not get a school at all! Instead parents will have no choice but to make their children endure a 90 mile a week journey just to get to and from school. This tiring and lengthy journey is totally unacceptable and will have a severe impact on their educational experience.
The purpose of this petition is to make Wokingham Borough Council honour their pledge to deliver a secondary school by September 2016, as set out in local councillors manifesto's and stated in public pledges.
