I think we need to look at the salaries of the RIOC executive team as a way to save money. The are over paid.

Rates need to be consistent with similar centers in NYC. This is not a private club and should not be priced like one.

Sportspark was built w/federal PUBLIC FUNDING. Therefore, the fees should be MINIMAL. RIOC is GOUGING the public if a community whose only recourse is to pay to travel into Manhattan or Queens for the same facilities. These current fees are unconsciable.

This is highway robbery. Stop gauging the locals. This pool is for us, not for wealthy Upper East Siders.

We lived on Roosevelt island for almost 36 years.
My husband is 71 years and retired. I am a teacher on the island and I am retiring soon.
This is above our budgets.
We both love swimming. Please please do something about the fees.

I advocate for affordable rates for RI residents especially seniors. Residents shall have priority and opportunities to embrace the little we have here in our wonderful island I love. I support the petition and rates make it affordable for the wealthy . On a special education salary this is out of my range. Let’s stand together and build an island based on reinforcing the value of RI residents . We need equal opportunities and I strongly support the petition.
