A pedestrian is need in this location. The only crossing accessible is 950 meters apart from each other. Belama and buttonwood Bay is very populated why is this treated as a highway with so many stores along that way and little access .

Our Government needs to do something about ASAP. Pedestrians has no say in this country. All they are catering for are for vehicles and not pedestrians.

It's mind baffling how they constructed the road without considering pedestrian crossing in that area. It's a matter of time before something terrible happens.

I am signing this petition because it affects me personally. I have to walk almost quarter mile just to get across in the morning WITH traffic... It is a real pain. A perdestrian rank IS NECESSARY.

In total support of a pedestrian crossing and also and ENTRANCE is necessary to make either a U-turn or to cross over to Buttonwood Bay at some point between the Belama Roundabout and the Buttonwood Bay Roundabout. In the event of a Emergency or natural disaster that would be such chaos trying to get to a gas station or getting out of the city. The planning of this project surely had no consideration for our community and lacks input from the residents in this area.

I live along the PGH and getting to the various supermarkets is a risk if walking and a huge inconvenience if driving. These are the challenges faced by my family on a daily basis, especially with the new dividers on each lane. This was never discussed with residents as part of this project. Pedestrian safety needs to be prioritized and urgently addressed.

In full support of this. Seperation on the highway is good, but poor planning for pedestrians was not fully thought out.

If I remember correctly, there is a sad history behind why the initial pedestrian crossing was placed near the church. I think this situation needs to be addressed before there is another tragedy.
