I grew up there, and remember when that store opened, and I'm only 30. Please do something positive for the community in that building.

Utilizing empty buildings that may easily be refurbished is a bonus for any community. The structural size, available parking and accessible location appear to make this facility extremely desirable for the proposed Multi-Generational Center.

I worked at 2 businesses that existed in this center. Both helped me develop at a young age and propel me forward in life. It's not only a shame that this isn't the case for youth in Shelbyville currently, but also that it's such an eye sore for the citizens of Shelbyville. This location is just blocks from my childhood home & where my mother currently works. To me, it's a landmark for what the citizens of Shelbyville have to look forward to if they don't live by an interstate. Turning this building into a center like this would be monumental for the city of Shelbyville and its dedication to its citizens.

I think this is a good idea. Good location with plenty of parking. It would give the Horizon Center the extra room they need so badly. They can have all their activities in one place. They can have all the arts there also (painting, photography, pottery, crafts of all kinds). Seniors and the younger generation could work together and teach each other. Win-Win situation.

I think this is a good idea because it gives young kids in the performing arts A close place to go. I would like to take dance lessons there

Do it please we need a place for this in Shelby County. We have other places for sports and other programs. The Arts in Shelby County needs this. I would love to use this to further my career in the arts. It will also make the city of Shelbyville more desirable. The old Marsh is now a eye sore and a hang out for people who do not need to be there. This needs to be done for the sake of the community and the arts. It is a waste of space now. Turn it in to something better.

I would love to have this! I would love to have a place to practice and rehearse for shows. The Multi-Generational Center would give everyone an opportunity to do what they love.

This would make a great facility to bring all ages together for a common purpose. Way to think progressively Shelby County!
