I web to this school as a child and seeing the lolly pop man every day was so much fun. He was always so happy. I also applied to be a lolly pop lady several times via Suffolk county council when roles were advertised but never heard back, yet there was no new crossings supervisor appointed. My son is currently at the nursery and due to go up to the infants this September and it would be devastating not to have a lolly pop man/woman. They are life savers and are based at most other schools, why not here? It's just a case of waiting for an accident to happen without one.

The road outside the school is a very busy one, a bus route too. with loads of parked cars. It's ridiculous there is no longer a lollipop man/woman. Please reconsider BEFORE someone gets hurt, not after.

Its chaos outside the school, people parked on the grass in blocking the view of the road, Its a regular bus route in both directions, people double parked on the road including on the yellow //\\//\\SCHOOL//\\//\\ markings on the road. The footpath upto the Junior school is very narrow which also doesn't help because people feel the need to stop and have a conversation in the middle of it, and to top it all off the gate is about as wide as your front door! 3 of my children use this 'crossing' so the lack of a Lollipop man/woman concerns me.
