I think this is a marvellous idea and something much needed in that particular area, not only for the pedestrian trying to cross the busy roads but as a driver trying to anticipate if someone is going to try and cross the road when there's a gap in the traffic.

Trying to cross the road to get to tiny tumblers with my 3 year old, and a pram with my 3 month old is very difficult. I use public transport so it's even worse when we are catching the bus as we have to cross the road twice! The three way crossing is essential x x

Plus a crossing by the new estate on station road, Bishop's Wood. Children playing and going to school etc

Agreed! A 4 way pedestrian crossing at this busy junction would make like easier and safer not only for local residents, but for the children walking to local schools and those that use local shops

I am in full agreement with this as its a such a busy road for children to cross and with 2 schools so close by, it's only a matter of time before there will be a serious accident.

We need this crossing it's a several times a day game of Russian roulette
I have so many near misses of cars nearly knocking me and the children over.

I have a 2 year old who I often take to the soft play and sometimes I can't park behind there and need to park across the road and it's a case of run or die when crossing these roads as you don't know where the traffic is coming from and how fast they are going to come around the corner.
