This is a necessity! The crossing needs to be made a priority by RCT before someone is killed or seriously injured.

With bypass excellent for cyclists and walkers, safe crossing is essential for villagers to cross the alternate 3 roads, which are at present without this provision.

this is much needed in our community. Planning for extra houses, in our over populated village is granted time after time, but no additional resources are provided. This crossing is an absolute necessity to allow children and parents to reach schools/homes safely.

I have contacted RCT council ( highways dept and other) twice regarding this issue and both times they replied there was no money to do this and also have spoken to Graham Stacey.Maybe we need to get petitions for people to sign in all the local shops, schools etc as not everyone locally will see this. Thanks for starting this petition as I was just looking into doing the very same thing

My children cross this very busy road everyday for school. My eldest daughter (10) has worked out that we have exactly 10seconds to cross before the next green light. This is something that she should not be worrying about on her way to school.
