In desperate need especially as there are so many school children using this road, new housing estates etc. This is a very busy junction

Definitely need the crossings as there are alot of houses on the sites off station road most of which have children to cross to get to school or even go out to play.

I have always thought this road is extremely dangerous, especially with the schools and Tiny Tumblers being accessed by so many parents and their children. There is the pedestrian crossing up the road but that doesn't solve the problem if you want to cross any of the other roads on this junction! My poor mum is terrified every time she has to cross here!

Given the high foot flow of the surrounding walk ways of this cross roads, ensuring a safe pedestrian area is worth the small financial cost compared to the loss of a life. The cross roads are made more dangerous by the lack of a clear turning system layout in the centre. Vehicles often 'sneak' around other cars making it even more difficult for pedestrians to judge crossing opportunities.

I strongly agree and would love a crossing there as dodging the red lights to get to tiny tumblers with my child is such a worry and stress. X

Badly needed. Witnessed four teenage girls walking on the road rather than cross to the pavement side. So dangerous.

it does make sense to have a crossing as tiny tumblers is so difficult to get to with my 14 month old, if the car park is full or walking there from the opposite direction I'm literally running across like a mad woman to stay clear of the traffic!
