Can't see why they are a problem to anyone & have created a nice, inexpensive, outdoor eating entertainment area for the eastside; and, at the same time, locals are making a decent living and not becoming homeless. If Casa del Rio can't handle a little competition, that's their problem, not the problem of the food trucks or the customers who eat there. Get it right City of Tucson!!! Help them get set up permanently.

Such a convenient place for such great local foods!! What a shame it would be to MANY if the city forces them out of their great business.

Local food trucks are great for creating a positive sense of community and bringing locals together with local businesses. Don’t force them to leave.

Shutting down The Pit would be a grave mistake. One that’d displace and disadvantage far too many people, and take away a beloved community hub in the process. The entrepreneurs that’ve built a living for themselves here need more support from the city - not this crap.
These sorts of spots are what allow a city’s food culture to grow and thrive. Tucson, of all places, should understand that.

This is absurd. What better opportunity is the city planning for that corner (none)? Bunch of busy bodies.
