Keep the food trucks and Give them a break to meet the requirements. Great for the community and small businesses. Go Local. Small businesses need a break in these difficult times.

The food trucks are beneficial for us the customers and the owners do their business. The prices are kept at a decent cost for people with low wages and that might not have the time to go home for a meal during working hours and families who might not make enough money to take the family to a restaurant for a special treat.

Fix the problem. We need MORE places like this, not less.

I’m very upset by the code violation. The City should be supporting small businesses instead of trying to shut them down!

This is a unique space for the community to gather. The City of Tucson should do everything they can to help the owners and vendors stay open and viable.

The Pit is a quarter mile from my house and I not only get food there but I deliver food with a service and I pick up there all the time. This CLEARLY is about the city getting $$ out of these good local vendors. SHAME ON YOU CITY OF TUCSON. Although I'm NOT surprised, just disgusted especially in THIS HORRIBLE econmy!!!

Not enough places like this for community to gather together and learn about each other. Work with the owners to come to a compromise that allows The Pit to continue. Thank you!Rachel

We love the Pit. It’s a fantastic meeting place for a great bite of food. People need a place to go to gather safely. The Pit is it!
