Tucson needs to support this type of ingenuity for small businesses. An eyesore was turned into something good. Bring back the Pit and cut the stupid bureaucratic red tape!

The Pit is a superb use of otherwise abandoned property. It can even be considered a "green" act to not require reconstruction of anything and to allow utility connection as the alternative is very expensive and energy-demanding. I can agree with the removal of the food trucks, but rezoning as a restaurant is not appropriate. Closing this does not further the best interests of the community (in fact it is the opposite).

This can’t close! We love going and supporting our small businesses! We love all the food! But definitely the OG Mexican food truck!

Please reconsider making The Pit close. My family loves going there to eat, and get food/drinks that are not offered at other places. Plus, and it's a big plus. We love supporting our community and not just big franchises
