Considering how long that lot has been unused before The Pit showed up and changed it for the better, it's a shame that the city would choose to close it down. The city should really reconsider, and help turn it into a space that works for everyone.

This is a successful and popular food truck location. We don’t have a whole lot of options on the east side, The Pit was a great addition!

Roadside trucks with a good reputation are always great. Picking the "right" site for attracting drivers is sometimes a dispute. Is there really a problem here or just a political play against the food trucks we have enjoyed since kids?

My family loves the pit primarily because it allows all of us to get what they want given the diverse foods available. When is the city going to realize that Tucson needs to be more flexible and start setting the example and stop being the example of what not to do!!

There needs to be another way to resolve these issues or update the codes. I'm a small business owner/food truck and this is how I support myself. Totally unfair to make such a drastic change. And with so little time to react and redirect my business model. This will harm so many businesses and families. Plus, the community that has grown to depend on us.
