Hello everyone I am starting this petition for all that are having a hard time getting through life because of your criminal past..... Everyone doesn't stay the same,most people deserve a fair chance at life without being judged...We automatically get turned down because of a felony.... But a sex offender can live where they please as long as they are registered.... Please be a help by signing this petition and let's be heard vocally as well. God bless you.

I haven't been able to get an apartment in my name and I've never had one in my name. With a old background(13 years) it shouldn't be this hard
It is a commandment from GOD , to love your neighbor as you love yourself. Why can't I be your neighbor ? because of a drug conviction that is 24 years old ? For real ! GOD bless.
My felonies are very old 8/10 years I still can't get into a decent place, I've been sober 8 years work 2 jobs and make good money but still have to live in high crime and drug areas because no one will accept a felony
I myself have no criminal background but i have people in my life that do and i see all the heartache and sorrows they go thru to get on their feet. Even if it's many years ago they are still not considered EX felons.
I totally agree I'm a felon to a charge I didn't commit but because of the way the system works I spent 2yrs of my life in prison away from my daughter and family and I've now been home for 3yrs and I'm struggling to find somewhere that I can call my home
OUR PAST SHOULDN'T KEEP US FROM BETTERING OUR FUTURE
My felony is almost 10 years old in September and its still trying to haunt me, I made a mistake I've been clear except for some minor traffic violations which I have been blessed to take care of, so my goodness, give me a chance

I'm a convicted felon for DRUG charges, I also find it hard to flourish because of my past in finding jobs they usually have dishwasher, hamburger chains or something with pay a person can barely get through life on. And yet a sexual offender can work corporate jobs or management jobs. Not fair when a person is TRYING to do good in there life... Everyone deserves chances in certain circumstances.
