It is sad that we have to be signing a petition of this kind. As religious station, one would’ve expected values of love, equality, unity and fellowship in general, would be the cornerstones of 104FM.

This is absolutely horrendous. There is NO place for discrimination in the church and if Radio Tygerberg continues to show biased treatment to one [much smaller] demographic than another maybe the doors of the radio station should be shut down completely. In a time when faith communities are unable to gather, this becomes a sacred space and radio is one of the most accessible spaces especially for those facing income challenges. Bring back the isiXhosa language presenters and programming as a matter of absolute urgency!

Jesus's last instruction is "Go and make disciples of all nation" Matthew 28:19 He does not discriminate so which God are you serving? Please shift from self-centered thinking to other-centered thinking, bring Xhosa programmes back.

I listen occasionally to this lovely broadcast even though I don't work Xhosa. My church has online services and we all have data. Imagine not being able to connect to worship because you don't have data? This broadcast is a huge blessing to Cape Town. Please retain it if you can xxx

As i one of the listeners of this radio station am very concerned about the way the management is currently handling the isiXhosa radio presenters that they cant be on air during this time of civid 19 whereas its time for them to encourage and uplift our people.I feel like we as blacks we are not been considered in any of your decision as you only care for white people only because during the day there are presenters but at night no one why am not even talking about times because you you cater for Afrikaans speaking people from 5or 6in the morning until 22hrs at night but for us nothing is happening Why or maybe Xhosa presenters will bring the virus into the station but we want to know what is the good reason for doing this to ur as we are your listeners .

Bring back isiXhosa broadcasting and show the fruit of your repentance by not just restoring the Xhosa broadcasts but also increasing the ammount of broadcasting in Xhosa during the day time. At a time when churches cannot meet and the majority of our city cannot afford data to attend online church programmes, radio is a free source of encouragement, community building, friendship, upliftment, edification, worship. Show your heart, show your theology, show your humanity.
