Tygerberg104FM has finally folded and committed to restoring isiXhosa live broadcasts. We forced them to face their blatant discrimination and the station is finally being held to the standard our community deserves. Stay alert because we will be watching to ensure they actually follow through on this promise.

As the listeners of Tygerberg104FM we hereby write this petition with the objective of restoring God’s heart into the station.

The station’s decision to bar all isiXhosa live broadcasting programmes until further notice whilst all Afrikaans programmes continue live broadcasting is not representative of proclaiming Christ especially in a time when listeners are looking for hope and good news which is what the gospel of Christ is about. Such a decision not only brings division and disunity within communities and listeners. There is no justification more so at a time like this where listeners are seeking relevant content that will inject hope in their heartache and anxieties.

Tygerberg104FM is created for communities and should always have the community’s best interest at heart. We will therefore call to order any behavior and decision by the station that is not representative of the community’s interests.

Join us in restoring equality for all Tygerberg104FM listeners and presenters alike. Signing this petition represents your voice that will change the trajectory for generations to come.

Tygerberg104FM continues to ignore our cries while maintaining their discriminatory broadcast schedule. Their silence is a loud statement about who they value and who they choose to exclude.

As a former presenter in this station, i did my best to warn and work against the discriminatory nature of this station. Against the love and connection i had with the listerners, my conscience would'nt let me stay. This injustice is at another level in a Christian Radio Station.

I understand that the current situation do not favour businesses, however if the station is scaling down it should be done fairly.for we ought to be like Jesus, who is just, righteous, loving and wants the best for all of us.

It is sad that we have to be signing a petition of this kind. As religious station, one would’ve expected values of love, equality, unity and fellowship in general, would be the cornerstones of 104FM.

Jesus's last instruction is "Go and make disciples of all nation" Matthew 28:19 He does not discriminate so which God are you serving? Please shift from self-centered thinking to other-centered thinking, bring Xhosa programmes back.

As a young saved man, I’ve always had an issue with how this station operated. How can it be that isiXhosa only plays at night? And yet, we are representing the body of Christ? Which body of Christ is this and what century are we living in?!

I am holding Tygerberg104FM accountable for not upholding its slogan which say “We proclaim Christ” in how the station makes operational decisions. " I wish to bring equality and God’s heart back into the airwaves.. please

My family, my colleagues and I want to listen to IsiXhosa programs at night. We are healed by those programs. Thanks as God of All nations whisper in your ears to bring back the night programs.

I'M not happy now that it's only Isixhosa programs that are not on air it's only pre recorded shows that are playing on the time of Isixhosa programs.
