The present state government of Cross River grossly lacks the moral authority to re-brand the state having failed after 2 years of being in office in all aspect most especially in policy formulation and implementation, Lack of constant water supply after 2 years of being in office. I am therefore proposing that the present 'Destination Cross River'-brand of a riverine Dolphin coated in blue and white be allowed while the governor focus on visible development of the state and not media hype development . Both the indegene and residents alike demand and deserve a better Cross River where there is a robust economy, solid infrastructure, motivated civil service, viral private sector and responsible public sector. That the present state government is proposing another brand captured in the phrase 'Spirit of enterprise' with the image of a charging bull situated within a circlet of stars numbering 18 all sitting in red background suggest how clueless and disoriented the present set of public officers are. This anticipated brand does not represent anything Cross River. First, in tourism there is already enterprise and in the blue shade there is serenity unlike what the red and charging bull suggest. We therefore demand a better Cross River, not an angrily looking bull caged within a balcony of 18 disjointed stars.

I am truly humbled by the messages many of you have sent regarding the state of our home. It is your determination to see actual progress that keeps this movement moving forward despite the lack of response from the authorities. You are the ones showing what this state could be if development came before marketing.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people feel the same way about our state. This momentum is entirely yours because you chose to speak up when I was just a person with a concern. Thank you for turning this into something that can no longer be ignored.

Leave the State Logo and the State Song to what you met. Develop the security situation in the State, change the political cultism to selfless service delivery by politicians in the State.

AYADE, LEAVE OUR LOGO, SLOGAN, BRAND, FLAG, STATE SONG ALONE. If ONE KOBO is spent on any rebranding of signs, stationery etc it would be a pathetic mess. Clean the state, PAY SALARIES AND BENEFITS. Do at least ONE of your 35 MOUs. End the BLOODY violence. Give us water... Stop messing with our tourism brand and events! Even Obudu Cattle ranch is a MESS.

We don't need a change of logo but a better life for the citizens. Donald Duke created the logo and Imoke helped internationalised it. It's for Ayada to make the state better and change the single account rule and allow flow of money in the state.

We are a tourist destination, the resemblance of the logo to communist china colour does not represent the solemn nature of tourism.
